BESS – 2.4MW/10 MWh Battery Project, Ukraine

Challenge:

The project is located in the Mykolaiv Region of Ukraine and consists of six 2.4 MW/10 MWh dual-stage, grid-forming systems integrated with 15 MW of solar PV capacity. The first 30 MWh phase has been successfully connected to the grid and is fully operational. Despite significant infrastructure challenges in the region, the installation enhances grid stability and energy resilience while optimizing solar utilization through peak shaving and valley filling. This milestone marks an important step toward rebuilding a sustainable and independent energy future for Ukraine.
